Lori McNee Article Link… Twitter’s LoriMcNee, and the Art of Love
Emanating light and atmosphere, McNee’s broad spectrum of work includes luminous still life, landscape, and plein air paintings. Influenced by the Dutch masters, McNee’s elegant still life paintings typically include a bird or butterfly. Animals can also be found in many of her popular landscape paintings. Her recent work in encaustic is the result of countless hours of experimentation with the medium, and conveys the ethereal nature of the wax and the subject, in this case birds.
